apologise for the lack of enthusiasm in bothering to blog these couple weeks. its been like siao.

anyways today was a gd day. chem pract, followed by PE!!! and yes. econs on twin deficits and then break (which we had some fun) and then PC on terrorism.

nothing much to blog about. just that im kinna in the process of relocating the blog to wordpress. but im undecided for now. any suggestions anyone? should i move?

lastly, ah yes. coporate t shirt day tomorrow. so yes. lets all wear that piece of bright sunflower- yellow piece of clothing. i cant wait. lol.

and yes. i also cant wait for something esles thats coming up. in 10 days fm now. haha.

oh and its mums birthday today! coolio! so many cakes to eat! =) and besides that, i guess my night is burnt! got to do ia, tok and yes. study for english test, which i feel like im gg to die if i do it.

im sure youve experienced the feeling of missing the moment. and i did. yesterday morning on the way to school. as i peered out of the window, i saw many many nice moments that i would have liked to capture. it was THAT moment. but as the car passed it, it was LOST. that feeling kinna sucks, but it actually felt good to hv seen it. wouldnt it be nice to always have a camera with you always. so that these precious picture-perfect moments arent lost?
thursdays are one of the most relaxing days of the week. because there is PC and PE. for PE today, we did pull ups. i had not practised or anything, so i just whacked. managed to do 9, which was quite an achievement for me i guess. so i guess i'll just have to settle for a B, but my overall is still 28 points, so thats a Gold! thank God for that. and the running time was 10.12. an improvement! haha. the rest of PE was spent playing badminton with chups, leon and jia! i partnered jia for 3 sets and we won 2 of the 3. i must say it was quite a fair fight and it was really fun! haha. =) alot of action, missed shots, but it was fun in general.=)
i shall announce that PC today was one of the most. if not- the most hilarious PC i had in quite a long time. mr d.yap's board game thingy! haha. its a gd way to build class/team unity, and it allows us to have fun at the same time! fantastic! i am actually looking forward to next weeks PC!
so i guess that wraps up the busy day. the weekend is here. again.

i think devotions are really important in the morning and i always look up to the person who gives the devotion. ive been tasked to do that a couple times as a student and i think its really tough. for me, i think its tough cos i really dont want the msg to be from me, but rather God using me as a channel to speak to others. and i spend much time filtering and praying for a gd message to share.
today in particular, i thought the msg was important as it spoke to me. the importance of surrending everything to Him for a greater purpose. i never did look at it that way. the significance of 5 and 2. scarifice.
sometimes however, devotions can be considerbly weird to some extent, like the pin one and the difference in the male and female buttons. but i mean, there is still an underlying message that the speaker is trying to convey. even if the msg is "Give thanks", i think reminders like that are truely essential!

i feel like im falling ill, God help me recover fast. bless this week. in yr name. Amen.

we won rugby! yes. although i didnt go this year, i heard that we put up a fantastic fight and cheered our team on to win first place! the score was 15-11.
good job guys!
today was a terribly goggy day in sch for me. just felt really tired. i guess its the tiredness brought over from last week. reached home promptly at 4 today and slept a couple hours. feeling much better now.

so yes ive not blogged in a week. sry abt not updating but this weeek has been exceptionally hectic doing tonns of stuff and its finally over and yes. its rewarding and a super good feeling! so yes. score 3/3! for now that is.
today there was om finals in school. was busy running around supporting everyone from one venue to another and wishing them all the best in their quest for national champs. of the 5 teams, the results are as follows:
d2p2- 3rd, D2P3- first!, d2p5- first, d3p3- first, d3p5- second.
great job to all and todays performances were just fantastic! everything was fantastic!
yesterday there was spon and yes. taboo! haha. i emceed it with chris and i must say, that it was super impromptu and it was funny! great job to the winners- class 6.3 and good job to 6.7 and 6.15!
yups. i dont have much to say, but im kinna tired. and i feel relieved and happy! haha. work shall begin tomorrow. ive not started on port! darn it! tomorrow chiong!

the last couple days were hectic, but fun! today was swim against malaria(sam), a council initiative headed by jin and fraser. students were asked to raise funds and swim. the money collected goes to help buying nets for less developed countries, which will prevent them fm getting bitten and getting malaria.
spent the early morning tying balloons and doing admin stuff. dr ong came and we had some pictures taken and we started the event. i raised $14(tks to leon n chris). but i AMAZINGLY (yes. i cant really believe it either). swam 100 laps. thats like 5k. it was in abt 3.5 hours with many breaks in between for a chat or food. paced sarina for quite abit today too.
so yes, besides the fact that im like tired, sun burnt and tired, i think it was well worth it and it was quite enjoyable and fun! and for a gd cause!=)

it was a great day today, doing alot of things. im officially glued to my art now. like its so unusual that i actually am self motivated to go and complete it! =) its going well. thank god for that.
yesterday, being april fools day, the national anthem was interupted by.... ah... ze zuan ya.... (the lion king song). and something like insects in the staff rm. haha. wth practical jokes la. i really dunno. its come to a point in time where i think these jokes are lame, but yes. funny. besides, there is only 1 april fools day in a year. and the sms on the capture of mas selamat. wth man. things like this also want to joke about. not funny.
not looking forward to nafa tom. ive not ran in ages. but some part of me wants to complete it all tomorrrow. hah.

1st of april. april fools. dereks birthday. happy bday.

i guess it was the qns i got. like i knew my content and i know that my slides are fine cos i did present it to 2 teachers like yesterday and the comments were fine.
the qns asked were like zomg. i really didnt expect it. as in some of the qns didnt even make sense to me and the teachers themselves just keep throwing qns in complete randomness. (yes, they interupt each other) but i thank the teachers who tried their best to relate to me despite this topic not falling into their field.
so yes. i guess it was an "average" presentation. which like totally made me feel like crap. so much for getting my A. i think i will settle for a B or lower instead(hopefully not, if not i'll feel terrible), which makes me feel like bleah.
but i think wads important is that i gave my best and i guess i wouldnt have done any better in terms of content. so that i will try and give thanks for.

monday. the 31st of march, the last day of the 3rd month! a relatively normal day but a day to be greatful for. it started with chapel, then math, econs followed and then it was tok op final run thru with mdm. it went well i must say and i did get some valuable advice and questions to think about. recess followed and we went back to class to spend there rest of recess. thanks to jia and chaya and reks for looking through my script and giving me things to think about. chem followed. it was a combined class with ms c.lows class. the lesson was hilarious. i spent like half the time laughing. firstly, i cant seem to find where she gets SO much energy from! shes like amazingly, interactively crazy- in a gd entertaining teacher way!=) the last period was art and i guess that 1h40mins pasted quickly as i painted and prepared stuff that i needed. spent the EE period talking to mr farlow abt my presentation and he didnt really have much questions for me. just some things he needed to clarify. i guess that was a gd thing=). ended the day going to class to help and present to the ppl who went for neth's tok focus thingy. i think it was fantastic and useful! tks kenneth for yr input and for organising and for all the advise we gave each other! im grateful for today and for everything that has happened. thank you God. happy bday yeang!=) today marks the day of end of a busy weekend and another hectic week to come.

the past couple days were busy. friday was a short, but meaningful day. spent the afternoon helping to settle the yls goodie bag and other yls stuff and helping around watching stuff too.

yesterday was the youth leaders summit. it was successful and it generally went well. thanks alot to everyone who turned up and supported this event. =) and to 613 for full attendance at the summit. to reks for chairing the comm=) and for everyone else who made this event possible.

the next couple days are going to be hectic. with tok op this tuesday and EE, which ive yet to get out of the way.

centre stage yesterday was probably a gd decision (based on a coin toss). dkoh n i took forever contemplating on whether to go or not. i think the performances were gd. alot of inside jokes. probably a gd end to the long tiring day. great job to .14 and to the rest of the plays.
supper at 11ish with some juniors and headed home just before 1.

unproductive. thats how i can describe the past 2 days ive had. i did manage to do some work, but that doesnt really quantify for anything. went out with dad for lunch yesterday and today its always nice going out in search for good food! went mezza9yesterday and went tenshin today=)
just came back fm the singapore vs australia international friendly match at the national stadium. it was an invitation by dkoh and fraser, kenny, arj, mc, javis, alvin, davidlai and harith also came along. the weather today was terribly u might have guessed. but god is good and yes. it was perfect weather throughout the match. i cant really believe it myself, but yes. god is good all the time! the score was 0-0. haha. but it was a gd match. esp towards the last 10 minutes. many amazing shots attempted. im really not a soccer person as u probably know by now. but watching a match once in a blue moon isnt of much harm=) we ended up heading to marina for supper and fraser, arj and myself took the bus back.

work can wait cos we procrastinate.

there goes week one of school. i cant really imagine it passed so quickly. again.
art, pe, break, ee, freeperiod, econs, voting.
pe was nafa. broadjump and sit and reach. i can never do well for sit and reach! cant believe it! but im glad that the station they remove for army. its like. hard. broadjumps usually okay.=)
had a gd chat with mr tan today abt EE. im supposed to hand in my final draft next week. ive still got like alot of editing to do. lord give me the wisdom to change what needs to be edited. amen
voting. the council elections. it went well. i did not use up all my male positive votes, but i voted for 10 people. and gave 3 ppl neg votes. for the girls i used all the neg and pos votes. i think i really based my votes on sincerity, and if they made the effort during campaigning and if they told me WHY they were running instead of just saying oh. please vote. vote. vote.
stayed back after sch for a while to do some stuff, then headed hm with doug.

a generally gd day in school and a nice start to the term. it was nice seeing everyone once again! and lifes back to its routine i guess. and im so glad its REW week! i like rew!
the 3rd council nominees are quite dissapointing though. i walked into school today expecting the school walls/ stairs/ doors/ toilets to be flooded with posters. but to my surprise, there were just a couple banners, and minimal posters around school. i guess to some extent it shows how bo-chap some people really are. on the other hand, im sure many other people are using the personal approach, which i feel works well too!
the council forum after school was interesting. im glad it was held as i really had no idea who to vote for. the forum has certified some of my decisions and it has allowed me to get to know the nominees better. i also have to thank the year6's who came down to support and to those who asked questions.

i really do not know how to describe the hols. ive not been productive. thats for sure.
i thank god for yesterday and how it turned out well. =) playin pool regularly might just be a gd thing. i love 417! and for the council meeting/ buying stuff and lunch today. ive not bought so much stuff for under 300bucks! (and im sure kenny, dkoh n bryan would agree)
im fallin' sick again. been poppin' the pills. cough and flu and whatever else comes with it. im not in the mood for work. but i guess im forcing myself to clear it at a terribly slow rate.
2 more days left of the hols. 2 more parties to attend (which im still considering to not attend one). tonns of work to complete. oh and today is pie day!!!! haha. march the fourteenth! 3.14!!!

a fun day yesterday. church in the morning. the book of james is kinna short. but yes. meaningful in many ways. lunch followed and i went on my search to find the shoes again! this time i looked around orchard, in particular, wheelocks, taka and paragon. and yes ive decided on which pair to get. finally. will prob go and grab it soon.
got back mid afternoon, took a short nap and went to meet dkoh at orchard to do present shopping! haha. it was kinna quick, as we more or less narrowed down our scope to a couple stuff. ended up getting him books!

met bryan and alex and charles and then we headed to jmls party together. just like last year, there was bowling, tonns of great food and games and many people were there. love gg to parties! catching up with my ex- classmates! (417) and met up with people on the intact side! played table tennis first. yes. my skillz werent too bad.didnt lose my touch. then played air hockey with lucas and lost 9-10 i think. haha.
ate tonns of food. and then the bowling started. my first set(the unofficial set) was terrible. really. i think it was like 80something. then the so-called tournament started and my target was 150.(like wth right! haha). somehow, i got my touch back and played pretty well. managed to get 164!=) my fellow lane mates, dkoh, charles, jml and joshua did really great too. all above the hundred and 120 mark i think (yes. we won best team! haha) the last set was not fantastic. everyone just slacked. many ppl in my lane got scores of abt 100.
party ended at abt 10ish. then headed out with 417s to pool! yes. we havent pooled in ages. dkoh was the ultimate champ in pool i must say. and i was so so rusty. haha. okay. partnered him for 2 sets and we won both. then i lost like 3 single murderer matches. partnered alvin for the last set and we lost to dkoh! haha. managed to catch the last bus past midnite. the bus was ultimate! on the entire way back, it only stopped 4 times! (fm orchard to kap)! it was like a 20min ride!

woke up at 11 for bruch! then super last min exco meeting in sch today at 1. left school at abt 330. got back quite a while ago. ive just like listed my workload for this hols. its gg to be one heck of a hols! more parties? probably a couple more i hope!

this day has finally come and im glad its over. a long day in school. it starts with helping out with the dc duty, and making the dc ppl help us to pump balloons.
then rehersals and practises for the 2 dances we were gg to perform, break, and then night duty and concert and another performance!
i think everything went according to plan and it was a considerbly smooth day. tks to raam, liuyi, wang, kenny, tessa, jit, handy (the comm ppl for the great job! pls settle all the paper work and pass me asap! haha) and esp the dancers! to bobbie(my partner!)- for teaching us the dances and for staying back all the time to help with everything! and everyone else: kenny and tessa, chups! and cielo(lovelovelove), bryan(bzbee!) and reks, christine and charles, edmund and natt (for making the effort to come down all the time and practise! and for supporting each other! and not forgetting nickeng! (who really really made the effort to learn both dances in 4 days (and the final dance this morning!))
of course we cant forget the rest of council! and the wish bringers. erms. mostly year 6s. i really think they made the effort and deserve alot of credit for banner and stars!!! great job guys!
finally to my class, who came down to support! chris- tks for the flowers/sweets and msg thingy. jeremy- the chocolate, mich- who decided to come afterall, chongwee and derek(who was also performing)! luv u guys!
i still cant believe its over. its different. satisfaction differs. perhaps its me and my mega plans.
another fun day tomorrow i would suppose! party!
everybody ALL for ONE! a real summer(march hols) has just begun! let rock and roll and just let go feel the rhythm of the drums! we're gg to hv fun, in the sun. AFTER all the hard work work is done(which means never).

glad to be back in school. tks so much to leon and chaya for keeping all my stuff under my desk while i was gone! and to everyone who wonderfully welcomed me back and gave me work and whatnots to settle.=)
things tt happened today:
1. lesson ob with dr ong for the first period- a gd recap of the option material. and an excercise with mass spec, nmr and trying to figure out the molecules. it was fun. we got one of the toughest molecule i must say=). fellow grp mates, jia, fab, jaime, han an for the nsd(never say die), try try try attitude=) nice cyclo- chim molecule.
2. interclass badminton! yes. and i was on mc!(but i played nonetheless!) partnered chups and we won jit n ethan. we can be quite a tough pair if we both are on top form. lols. (so i think) gd match although we made alot of stupid mistakes. and overall 6.13 pwns 6.12! fantastic class effort! (we shd hve more interclass games like this for pe!)
3. pe, then art. then1h40mins of econs. made quite alot of sense. erms. felt lost abit. but i think reading up does make up for tt. finally talk by some ppl fm uk top universities. then council stuff.

im drained. the med is getting to me. and im gg to sleep before i start rambling abt the nothingness. yes. nothingness. is there even such a word to begin with. hm i think so. okay. stop. yes. stop. out.

thanks alot to everyone for yr well wishes yeterday n today. when i got back on monday evening, i didnt feel good. i kinna sensed that my system was gg to fail me. woke up 3 times in the middle of the night realising that i was shivering in bed and the ac wasnt even on. yesterday spent the entire day snugged up in bed. today was slightly better. managed to get up and go to the docs. rested alot today cos of the med. hopefully will be well enough to go to school tomorrow. to mich- sry abt pangseh-ing u yesterday.hope it went well=) tks to all for keeping me in yr prayers.

happy birthday acs! the 122nd founders day celebrations took place yesterday in school. woke up slightly earlier so as to get to school b4630 to open the council room. my duty was to take care of the vvip, and in particular, mr tan, who stepped down yesterday as chairman of the board.
the marching yesterday was fantastic, despite the long wait for the goh, dr.tonytan. i kinna felt bad seeing everyone in the rain and everything and i certainly hope everyones well.
the academic awards/lauching of the book/ and the surprise was done in the audi. congrats to all my seniors who did so well. im sure u guys will be an inspiration to me to do my best this year=) didnt manage to get the book yet, but i browsed through it during dinner ystd night with derek and omg. saw myself appearing in it like 4times i think. and guess what. i didnt know i was even being taken! ah! the surprise wasnt even surprsing. the first surprise was the stamps and the second was the new school anthem. wth.
my duty ended with a school tour, then the reception and sending my vip back to his car.
went for the founders day dinner in the evening. yesterday night marked the 12th acs founders day dinner ive been to. and its the last dinner i will be attending as a student. (cos fm next year, i'll be an old boy of the sch!) met pri sch friens, teachers, our sch teachers, s.council, prefects and other ppl who ive not seen in ages. it was very nice catching up with so many people and yes, i guess thats what makes the dinner special.
i'll be getting the pics fm the dinner soon fm arj=) and will upload it up when i get them=)

went out today with dad for lunch at some jap rest at regent. i recommend it.=) heres the story. besides the many sushi-tei, sakae sushi and commercial jap rests, singapore has numerous famous jap restaurants. the first is located at sentosa golf and cc. the second is at ritz carlton, and the another is at regent and some others elsewhere. these rests are supposed to be opened by the disciples of the master of jap food. (and this master is really really fantastic. he can tell u the no of grains of rice he picks up as he makes a sushi.) (ive seen this before!) (and how do i know all this? erms i watched it on makansutra raw quite some time back!)
went to suntec after tt to attempt to do shoe shopping. walked around for quite some time, but didnt find what i wanted in the end. so i didnt get anything. finally got some bags fm samsonite and headed hm.
this weeks marks the last week for this term. its gg to be a long and tiring week. i sense it. lord, give me the strength, wisdom and guidance for this week! amen. hv a gd week every1!

did internal ushering duty this morning with dkoh. then had a short break. before we knew it, the awards ceremony ended and then it was reception duty. a briefing for tomorrow followed, then it was yls pre summit briefing. tks to everyone who turned up. greatly appreciated.
lunch and council work at subway with cielo and chups, then dkoh n charles came along.=)
went to queensway with dkoh n charles after tt to do some scouting for shoes. yes i wann to get new shoes. its weird doing retail therapy without money. haha. found many interesting and cool shops for printing shirts, gifts, banners and whatnot too.=) so the trip became quite meaningful.
went to anchorage after tt and had a nice long chat with them! we just chatted abt everything under the sun. it felt like the good old days. and it was nice to catch up =) we never seem to be able to run out of topics to talk abt. (maybe its just me and my rambling). hah
took the bus back with them at abt 6ish and got back at 7ish for dinner.
on a side note, these couple days has been a heck of a ride. im really thankful for the ppl around me. my classmates, my fellow councilors and cloest of friends. thanks esp to all who encouraged, comforted and was there when i was down. thanks thanks thanks. love u guys!

chem test was another surprise. thank god for that as well. i feel really blessed. in so many ways. thank u god!=) really. math test was okay. wont do fantastically well, but i think i gave it my best. and i guess thats all that really matters.
taught dance after school for like a long time today. a long long time in fact. thks so much to bobbie=) and for everyone who learnt it so fast. mood- accomplished.

monday comes to an end. a gd way to start the week. had foundersday rehersals in the morning to start the day. i just stood around with a couple other councilors looking pretty and watching. i guess the actual work will come on the day itself. the marching is really quite bad. i guess more practise is needed. (made this comment in comparison to last years one) im sure everyone will rise to the occasion on the actual day=)
econs followed. got the test results back. and yes. to my surprise, it was desirable. and i thank God for that. I really didnt study. i just merely read thru my dorton book for less than 30mins. Thank You god. i will not do that again. will study=)
tok followed, then recess and chem. art was the last period of the day. i think my art style is becoming very experimental these months and i seem to like this change. its breaking out from my usual style and its fun! fun i say!=)
english test was next. a dreadful 2 hours. i guess the poem didnt really speak to me so i had to end up doing the prose. i hope my interpretation makes sense though. i really do hope so. everyone was super restless and sian whilst doing the paper i think. haha.
ended up practising for MaW dance after the english test to chill out abit. got pang-seh-ed by bryan and whoever else. so ended up trying to finish the dance with bobbie. and yes. we did it. i feel accomplished. tks bobbie!=) met cao and hadi at abt 730ish as they came by the studio to practise some songs. it was nice!=) =)
math test tomorrow. time to do some math. i needa get a decent score for this test!

apologise for not been able to blog for this entire week. i really couldnt find the time. plus i really didnt know what to blog abt. anyways the sundays are alway used for reflecting and yes. i thank god that this week went well.
things tt happened this week- monday, council gm. tuesday,math test, which i think i did quite badly in. sry sir in advance. i'll study for this tuesdays one.=)wednesday, golf talk/worshop which was a waste of my time. really. and chem test, which went well. thank god for that. and i really studied for that. thursday- pe. beep. test. haha. i managed to out do myself. i think it was 11.4 or something. frm the previous 10.11. changed my strategy of tapping with different feet at each turn and it seems to have worked out. also thks to all who encouraged. it kept me gg esp for the last couple laps. O2 after school- helped with the music! and tks to butler for not interupting!!!=) i think it went well! gd job O2 team=) friday-running around the sch like mad to find contacts/details and payments for yls. meeting after school to settle that and more dancing=).
saturday-yls pre summit! more admin work. and i must say. i feel accomplished. thanks to all who made this week turn out well. esp to my class, council and in particular- cielo, liuyi, seng, bobbie, sarina, christine, bryan, jlow, tessa, yeang and a few others. couldnt have done it without you guys.

the 1.5 hours of sleep last night was well worth it. so yes. i stayed up kinna late last night doing work- tok mock op. it was nice seeing that fab, jeremy, reks and a couple others were up too. the feedback i got was positive, with minor changes and thoughts to a couple elements. =) tks to reks, jia, chris, jeremy, jaime for yr help!!=) lols. tks also to all who helped me through my day. yes it was really sleepy.
headed hm immediately after school and slept at 130ish i think till 6 to make up for sleep. it was nice.
just came back from love/retreat- a tarts performance by the yr 6 grad class of tarts students. i must say, it was a fantastic performance. much better that i had envisioned it to be. the lighting, queues, props, and acting was great=). great job to chris, cao, khairul, mary, bobbie, pang, theo, asy, gua, and ivan and all who made it a success=)
since the show ended early, some of us (reks, jia, cw, derek, han an, chris, anslem)went out for a while to broadway. hah. fab and yj went to rest back in sch, while kerry parted at the bus stop. the conversation was fun=). yes cw and his Csquare ! jokes. omg. got chased out after that and we all parted. Heres how jia summaried the night: "you cant recreate a moment, a collective strength of feeling, soullevel camaraderie. you can exist in it, and then store it in the folds of your memory. I love and hate life for this reason". how very appropriate.=)

i really cant believe it, but its valentines day once again. sry for blogging so late. just came back not too long ago. anyways it was a nice day in sch. delievering flowers, giving and receiving and just spreading the love=).
thks so much for the roses, chocolates, cards, ribbons, lollis, wangwang, notes, kisses, crackers, other food, calls and smses! it made the day that much special=). i think this year was different in many ways. some gd and some bad. but it was very meaningful nonetheless=).thank you Lord for everything!

a considerbly good day in school today i must say. the day started with chem, of which we did some ws abt organic chem. (test next week-sians). art followed and i must say that my random spillings ended up looking quite good=) and im considerbly pleased.=). ms thiru's lesson followed and we did some world lit stuff and king lear's splitting of extracts. oh my partner is mich. havent told her yet though. it was random. hah.=) the first recess. then tok. then frizb practise with fab, yangjian, leon and ben. it went well. art followed and econs test. to be frank, i really didnt study for the test. i couldnt find the time. so yes, i relyed on past knowledge and i HOPE i did fine. i think the prayer b4 the lesson was a very nice start to the lesson. reminded me of mr liang!=) haha. i think its always nice to commit everything to god and leave the rest to Him=).
anglo after school today. thanks alot to all who came down: fab, yangjian, leon, paul, jeremy, jia, chaya, wesley, chongwee, jaime, fraser, reks, deb, wes(y5), charline and su-ann(y5). it was nice that there was so much support and i think we did really well! and had fun! there were some fantastic moments and catches!=) bonding=) spent alot of time after that in school handling some matters. the unreliability of some people really cause so much trouble. really. but im glad it was settled =). tks alot dkoh and nat=) loves. =). got hm at abt 945 and mr farlow was headed hm too. lols. hes like the teacher who works till 8ish everyday. cant believe it!!! had a very fruitful chat with him which made the journey seem so short!=)

just came back fm a dinner not too long ago=). it was nice meeting everyone once again! had loads of fun. ended up at the roof of the penthouse. playing cards and baby sitting the kids! love it when kids laugh, smile and are just so carefree! so yes. piggybacked the kids, swinged them around alot, thought them blackjack and played snap alot. =) it was also nice meeting up with clara and linous once again. havent talked to them since like. erms. last year. its amazing how time flies.
i think this chinese new year is kinna more special to me. more memoriable at least=). i mean yes i love kids. but i'll stick to my stand. whether im gg to have them. thats another thing. hah.=) and yes. ive told mum i might not want kids.
met my very old time neighbours this afternoon too.they came to my place to visit. to my surprise, i found out that nicole is chris' best friend! lol=) what a small world! really. and yes. parents went on abt. omg. when u were so young. u guys were like..... okay. so yes. we took a picture to add to the album. =) im sure we'll reflect like 10 years or so fm now and see how much we've changed and aged. lol.

a wonderful day today and i shall blog today with some pics as well. went to acsp to visit the teachers once again! it was really nice to go back since i dont remember going back last year. so i went back with lucas, stuart and minghao=). talked to many teachers: mr lim, ms teo, mrs chee, mr poon, ms lee, mrs wong, mdm zahara, mr wan, mr e.lim and a couple others. its amazing. so many of our teachers have left! its kinna sad too though. walked around the school and we found our.... art work which we did like 6 years ago before we graduated.(like project remembrance) these are works by my class! 6E! looking thru the names really made me remember alot. really. i kinna wanna have a class reunion! ahh.

-the tiled works (the class of 6E!) everyone had a tile. so all the titles on a level belong to one class!
-My art work when i was in 6E (my contribution to the tiles) (okay. my drawing skills werent too bad then! lol)
-BenK's tile! haha. okay. there was mels one and erms. zach ongs, and erms, lucas', stuarts, nics, ricos, jerry's, williams and alot alot more others!
spent the afternoon at mos. okay la. erms. around that area. had a good reunion lunch and walked abit. i really like the atmosphere of the clarke quay area. many of the bars/pubs and all have really interesting concepts. the design aspects and the menus and all=)

came back in the afternoon and rested for a while b4 walking my dog. then went for reunion dinner! guess what. it was at ritz! (maybe grandpa read my blog.lol) yayness! international buffet style! to me, i think the dinner is really important. its the time to meet everyone and catch up on everything.=) plus, since it was buffet, that made it even more special.
just came back not too long ago. a long day of visiting awaits tomorrow.=)

andrew feels accomplished today. and math is sorta like an addiction when u start doing it! despite the early dismissal, i ended up staying back with some people to chat and work. as time passed, many left and i ended up doing math hw with mich. it was very fruitful i must say. despite some annoying questions. heh. i realised that its gd to do math with someone cos it really like 2 brains. =) 3 more wsheets left=)

a gd start to the week. math. english. tok. recess. art. english. ee.
that prob sums up the day. you know what? ee is better. and i thank god its going well. just when i was like. omg. ee Sucks! ive seen the light and i thank god for that. ive reached the point where rewriting the ee seemed like the best thing to do. it really can be frustrating. but its better after your mentor sees the improvements and encourages u with new insights and comments=)
art is also taking alot of time. i realised that art is the most time consuming HL in the world (in my opinion). you can prob take days and weeks to forumulate an idea. and research for a couple more weeks. then the doing prob takes like 2 weeks. and the touching up takes like 2 weeks and this CYCLE Repeats itself for 15 times! =) so fun right? haha. its gd cos art allows u to express yrself! but thats prob the only gd thing abt art! okay. u dont hv a ciriculum too=).
today i learnt something i prob wont forget in a while "relaxed confused". (quote jia). its a very nice paradox. really. i guess i feel kinna like that sometimes. be it gd or bad=). haha.
spent my afterschool helping with the cny stuff for tomorrow. did the backdrop for the concert tomorrow. thanks so much to jiahe, deon and adriel for helping to paint! to dkoh- tks alot! my decorating buddy=) and to bryan and jiahe and jin and tessa and kenny for the video=) great job guys! hope everything turns out well tomorrow at the concert! last day of the week tomorrow!

today in church i ended up gg to the upper rm service. the sermon today was very meaningful."what tomorrow may bring" it was about promises god had for us and how we should live our lives and to be a blessing to others.

the weekends going fine. yesterday was a rather useless day in my opinion. however i did manage to get some things done=). my dogs at home now! im so glad! at least i got someone to accompany me now everywhere i go at home. and someone to mess my bed! love my dog! haha.
spent the afternoon today at school at the figure drawing workshop. to our surprise, ama was the female model and nicholas(acjc) and some other tracker were the 2 male models. haha. figure drawing really isnt my thing. but it was fun=) the evening was spent ensuring that the contractors in the house were doing their jobs. nows time for work.

a gd day in school=)
highlights of the day:
1. art- a gd start to the morning once again. got some insightful ideas fm mr toh! tks sir=)
2. pe- 2.4k run. okay la. only 10.41. could have done much better. but a gd run nonetheless after not running for a week=). badminton followed. the first time this year ive actually had time to play badminton.
3. showering after pe is a gd thing. it makes u feel fresh. clean and just wonderful. i might just do that more often.=)
4. chem and econs followed- considerbly normal lessons
5. pc! haha.=) i like pc. the jokes by mr dyap. yes. super amusing. *insert chaya's laugh*. no names mentioned. but yes. i love my class=)
6. council meeting after schoool- it was so fast, sweet and to the point! just the way i like it! yippee!

today went fine. started with art, which set me in my elephant drawing mood once more. math test followed. it was fine and im glad it was fine. i was like stunned on qn 3,4 and 5. but after like thinking abit, then i was like. sheesh. its actually easy la. so yay me!- for knowing how to do everything=). the first recess went by rather quickly, with the highlight of the meal being ovaltine. okay. yes. ovaltine. the buscuit. i prob hvnt eaten it in decades so it tasted so gd when i bought a pack.
mr connors english lesson followed. it was normal.=) nothing special abt anima and whatt nots. second recess. i was like thinking so hard of what to eat and i finally decided satay beehoon. it was a gd choice after not eating it in ages. =) econs was up next. we're starting on international trade and the lesson was kinna easy to grasp. my seniors told me tt international trade is a nice topic and i really hope thats true=). to end the day, it was erms chem pract. i really dunno why but i cant wait for next week. chinese new year week! can eat all food- i want my bak kua! the love letters, tapioca chips! and i cant wait for all the dinners and catching up! ah. okay. stop.

the day started at 4 for me. i wanted to wake up to do work. but guess what. i was so dazed, i looked at my computer, shut it and went back to sleep! haha. i hv concluded- andrew cant do work in the morning!
today was a short day. started off with math, more da/dx and what nots. english followed. both strands. and the day ended. went out for a quick birthday branch and wachee to celebrate chris' birthday. jia, chaya, derek, yangjian, leon, mich, jeremy, reks, chups, chongwee were present to! it was a nice lunch=). a gd spread!=)
back to sch- helped do some class deco with jia n chongwee, then went to help the council with stuff for agape week. came back hm, rested, dinner, and did some work.

today the day went pretty well i must say. it started off in the chem lab. did some experiment on benzoic acid, phenol and bentanol if i can remember correctly. it was quite smelly. NOT fruity. (yes chongwee xD)haha. pe followed. one of the more informative and memoriable lessons. i think mr sim's doing a great job. he tells us the rights and wrongs of what we are doing. something which i prob want to know more at this age. esp what muscles and breathing and what nots. seems like a physical bio lesson though. (but ive not taken bio in my life)
recess followed and art. drew my elephant thingy. im like ah. tired of painting and painting on canvas. perhaps after i clear all my ongoing works, i shd move on to other medias. econs test followed. went well.=) quite simple la. then recess! and PC!

a rather short day in school. however, it did seem quite long. i guess its kinna cos i slept late last night and i guess thats wad made me really dazed during lessons today.
anglolympics after school today. we were prepared. played 4 sets. won the first one 8-1 and lost the next 3 sets. im really glad our junior class came down and im sure we did have fun cheering the class on and doing some senior-junior get together bonding time. i think the main reason why we lost is because we wanted to give everyone a chance to play(which is a good thing.=)). perhaps this meant we had to break up the dream team. anyways i think we did extremely well and most of all, i think we bonded well and had FUN! and yes. we are all winners!

went for some yog thing this morning with- yeang, reks, arj, lex, bobbie and henry. it was so bleah. we really shouldnt even have gone. (yes sarina. u made a gd choice) -anyways its some talk and programme to educate and get the youth's support for the upcoming youth olympics 2010 bid for singapore.
there were talks, videos, crazy and super high JJ ppl=), alot of dancing, and games.
left at 11ish and went for lunch at peperlunch(lex's idea). then it was our very aimless walking around. yes. very. aimless. went to hmv. then walked at raffles city aimlessly. sat at starbucks at the end, chatted for a while, got entertained by lex and our very spotting arj=). lol.
after tt, i headed to the library to get some stuff for ee. im love my ee topic so i guess im quite motivated to go find out things without anyone pushing for deadlines or anything. i can officially say i read all the books with works by LTP. books fm 1983 to the most recent 2007! =) gd time spent in the library=).
just had dinner not too long ago. i shall do art today=).need to relax abit=).

thank god i didnt get the role. lols. ok. u prob think im stupid or something. get paid, see yr face online, etc. but yeah. im glad i didnt get it. someone asked me to audition for some commercial for an advertisement coming up for singtel. so i went. and there was only me. some by invitation audition la. i read the script. and it was omg. the lines were fine. super singlish and they needed me to faint. i practised a couple times, took a couple takes and left the studio. my problem: "you smile too much. dont smile when u faint.""the fainting is not natural"(but there wasnt anyone to catch me when i fell) "the lines are too cool for you. be more nsk(neighbourhood school kid)." lols. okay. so i did give my best. and i had fun doing it. really fun!

monday- release of results
tuesday- holiday spent doing work. and catching up on what ive missed cos of orientation
wednesday- back to school. council meeting after that. some drama thing in the evening.
thursday- short day in school. mr sims our pe teacher(yay!).long pc talk about expectations, time line, etc. really shows us how stressed we must be!
friday(today)- short day in school.=). celebrated the jan birthdays! happy bday to benk, mich, yangjian, zhang and chris.=) and tks to zhang for buying the cake! i love my class!=)
tomorrow- some conference in the morning and afternoon. shd start on ee draft2! think of tok, written commentary, chem pract ws thingy, math hw, read econs and finsh ia3, art!!!.... the list goes on.=)

i really think god has blessed the school in so many ways and yes. results were one of them=) got back my chinese results today too. 7pts. im really contented. orientation is over! it was a fantastic 3 days and i must say that it was a gd way to kick off the new year (although it really feels like the end of a year). the day started with an english lesson by mr connor and then it was econs with mr ong. the lessons were gd=) recess followed. mass dance and dance off was next in the programme. we went thru the steps, then did the dance like so many times. then it was a couple dance-offs and the breakdancing dance off!
telematch was next. it was fun. worked with fraser, jin and handy to ensure that ppl had to"slide" and not just crawl or roll. threw flour all over the place and yes i was as dirty, wet and sticky as ever. tks to those bunch of y5s for the cold icy shower. lols. it was all in the name of fun anyways=) sry to those who got flour-ed or got splashed by me.=)=/
quick shower and then it was lunch n cca fair. nat n i were walking around desperately trying to find ppl to participate in golf. and guess wad. NO one. haha. lols. i kinna expectedit though. but i guess then we just cant send in an a div girls team. cheering followed and then it was the amazingly high-sch musical on the astro mass dance. it was awesome! cant wait to get hold of the pics. really. (gd idea paul!) the last thing was the council danceoff. super fun. bryan u rock! "shake!shake! shake!"
dinner followed. the items were nice and the company was great! i love my council. (when we arent doing work.) just having fun! its just great to hang out. played the tap-clap game, the number and hand game and alot of table games. i think alot of ppl got hooked onto the tap-clap-check it game. yes it was fun! and justinlee- your "yo!checkitout!yo!" rocks! our item was totally fun too. the lemon tree item. tks to debbie and denise and tessa for helping to perform=) the day ended with alot of grp fotos, grp cheers, packing up, setting up, prom video, moving things and a nice supper at wach!=)
i guess alot of credit will have to go for yeang and arj for heading this orientation. together with the orientation comm and council. and of course, i think the OGLS were fantastic! its amazing! they all really did a fabulous job and im sure they had fun too! oh yes. i need your email adds so i can send the pics. so pls msg me or something!

second day at school and second day of orientation for the new year5s. it was a wet morning which caused assembly to be in class. the new class comm was elected and mr chirnside gave us our verse for the year. its fm psalms 122 and i think its fantastic. i totally agree that the verse was special and it was meaningful for a class like ours. thank u lord for blessing us with such a great ct and that verse! went to help ms han for posters for the first 1hr of the day and then it was recess and the council was off to help in the various stations for the ac-siting race. my partner was nat and nick and we were stationed at the fountain of wealth. ive learned so much from the place and im so glad i was posted there. everything there is fantastic. at our station, the grps were to do 3 things. 1. duck walk and spell international baccalaureate. 2. do the mass dance led by their ogls. and 3. take a few group fotos. 4.(optional- walk into the fountain to get good luck).

abt 14 grps came. and nat and i were like. super busy fm 11 to 3. almost non-stop of entertaining the grps. it was fun at the same time. my legs are aching. and im serious. cos i did duck walk abit with some grps. and many bits means alot. i guess me and nat combined took abt 300plus fotos. (maybe abt 400). cos we both brought our slrs. anyways- OGs, OGLS, council and whoever who wants the fotos, pls drop me an email and i'll send u asap! (the files are very big. so its kinna impossible to upload everything to u send it)

went back to sch at abt 4ish. helped ms han with the posters again. and ive completed it. finally. tks to jia, kia, david, yihang for all yr help! then went back for council meeting/debrief b4 heading home. oh yeah. tks to jia and everyone else who kept work for me when i was away. i really appreciate it=). im like so tired. gg to sleep soon! last day of orientation tomorrow! aww. and yay!=)

spent the new year at esplanade and it was fabulous! the fireworks were fantastic!!! best ive seen in a long time! spent the new year with a new bunch of friends on some staircase so we could get a gd view of the fireworks and im glad that i did! wishing everyone a blessed new year and may this year be filled with joy, love, peace, goodness, and contentment and purpose!
ive more or less figured out my new year resolution. but not planning to share it=). im still in denial that its the new year. i cant believe how fast time flies. thank you lord for the time of reflection yesterday night. thank u for your call. thanks to all for your smses, emails, wishes, calls! happy new year once again! i cant believe school starts tomorrow! sheesh! god bless!

its that time of the year once more to go reflect on the year and thank the lord for all the many blessings he has showered upon me.
highlights/ memories of the year:

orientation07- something i thought was very boring and draggy for the first few days, and turned out to be something quite enjoyable. new friendships. new start to the year. tks to my ogls- moonie and jityew!
new class (CLU13) and new classmates- i guess this was one of the best blessings ive got. everyone in the class is amazing. the friends, company, i really couldnt have asked for more! thank You God!
chinese new year reunion dinner (fathers side)- the most memoriable one ever in my life. grandpa's so hip and cool! love him! yes. we have a international seafood buffet for our reunion dinner at ritz carlton! i will never forget the spread. (i want it next year again. *hint hint*) im sure cousins loved it too!=)
valentines day- the first time we actually celebrated it in class. tks alot to those who made it such a special day. thanks to You for that note.=)
life science symposium- that weeek was just amazing. it was great to spend it with my 417 friends and just to teach others and experiment with stuff! it was fun, cool and i just wanna do it again with the same bunch of u!
bro's team winning om! it was something i would not forget. and for the year5 team and my bros team winning at the world finals! for the messages tt u guys sent. tks.
getting into student council- something i was very apprehensive about at first. i mean the reality is that im getting tired. but yes. i prayed. and i guess ive found my purpose in council. i thank god for the newly-forged friendships and the company in council!
outing for closing of national stadium- something that i will remember. my first ever soccer match ive watched.(live) and cos the place really brings back alot of memories of my childhood. also, to have spent it with my closest friends=)
window on the world- the most amazing and meaningful trips amongst all the oep trips ive gone to. the memories. the fun. the games. the work. everything. will be remembered. and im really glad that i went for wow with my class! that made the experience that much more special! (and yes! i still wanna watch the dvd!)
prefects and seniors dinner- the dinner that would officially end the dinners ive done. it was wonderful to spend it with council06.
417 BBQ- the best bbq this year! tks to alex, alvin and everyone else who chipped in to help! it was a super gd reunion! i really miss you guys and its great that we can meet so frequently to catch up with everything and everyone! must so do it again next year! (alex-hint*hint*)
octoberfeast- the school party of the year. it was fun. great job to council and to everyone who came. im sure alot of us had fun=) (although it did end abit early)
deanslist/ con camp- something i will not forget. mixed emotions abt both.lol
barclays open- im glad to meet alot of the players on tour this time and it was a fun, exciting and amazing week of competition!!! im looking forward to the womens tournament nearly next year and barclays again next year end(although it will clash with my ib exams... lols ive checked.(only the weekend i can watch)).
brunei tournament- best standing for a tournament this year. i really thought i could have won and im glad i gave my best. happy with the results=). maybe next year will be the year.
japan holiday- a fun-filled and packed holiday. glad to have some time off with my brother. cos we really dont have the time to talk and chat during a normal school day. and our weekends are so packed. im glad i went away.
christmas- i love christmas. i love everything about it. and thank You Lord for everything. Thank you for what You have done for us.
outings(in general)- from the simple one on one outings. to the sit down and chat over a cup of coffee, to the pool outings, to the soccer outings, to the lan outings, the bbqoutings, the shopping n movie outings. thanks to all who planned and went. loved them all. these are the simple things in life which i really treasure=).

besides all these, this year has been really great. this year has seen new friendships being forged, old friendships being strengthened. my walk with god has been stronger and this year, and i can say that the lord has really shown me his grace and his power. its been amazing and i can confidently say that i have the God of power! amen.

as the year comes to a close and the new year approaches, i really want to put the past behind and look for the new purposes, the new adventures, journeys and memories that 2008 will bring.

my prayer for the new year comes from this song: the potters hand. i think it is very meaningful and i pray that this prayer will be one that guides me next year.

spent the last 1.5 hours on the fone attempting to get the internet fixed. then gave up with the very kind and patient person on the other side of the fone. prayed. turned everything off and restarted and it worked! tk god!
so today marked the end of OGL camp. great job to jlow, butler, yeang and arj for all the organising. to the games ppl- christine, nic, jit, charles.=) (and yes. i got myself dirty (i mean soapy)) while trying the telematch and it was fun!) the packing ppl- seng and team. the dis vid ppl- liuyi,koh, lex, edmund. and my fellow dance ppl- sarina, edmund, bobbie=) (i can officially say i know the dance well enough for now). and everyone else..esp to those who paid me money on time. lols. ok.
i think the camp was a gd time for the ogls and council to get to know each other better and perhaps to know more abt orientation. i certainly had a good deal of fun and im sure many of you guys had too!
b4 dinner some of us went to say hi to our beloved, mr bongard. it was nice seeing him once again and yes, i believe that he is one of the best prefect masters we got! dinner with yeang, paul, and jase after tat at prince. nice conversations over dinner too. and yes. i just heard that we made the right choice not to eat in sch. (cos they didnt have enough food, they ate like mush mellows and stuff). and to the rest of council06 who dao-ed us. sheesh. wth. i forgive u.
its the weekend again and i must so get some sleep.

yes. christmas comes along with- the christmas dinner consisting of the turkey, beef, the honey baked ham, the mashed potatoes, the pasta, the salad, the fruits, the chocolate, the carolling, the presents, spending time with friends and family and im glad that i had them all.

nice long chat with God today. thank you for blessing me with so much. guide me and lead me in everything ive prayed for=). in Your name. amen.
feeling a sense of detachment in church. not from god. but from the community. perhaps time to change church. perhaps. everytime i church visit, i always feel more in-tuned with their congregation. god help me make a decision.
lunch at the usual, then went to jalan pemimpin to visit reks.jk. went to collect some golf stuff. went back to visit my dearest doggy at hm b4 having a drink at tcc.
went for trng after that. since it was a promise that i helped to teach. so yeah. i guess. it was fun. won my 2 sets after trng. then met a friend, and headed back to orchard for shopping. bought some more stuff. and then it was dinner. i cant believe its christmas eve tomorrow!

went christmas shopping today.and i think ive bought all my presents already. walked fm taka to wisma to wheelocks to shaw center and i looped that route a couple times. orchard was crazy. there were so many people buying presents too. anyways today my presents were mostly for family and some last minute presents i didnt buy, and for some birthdays which were coming up.
ive spent like all my allowance this month in like 3 hours. haha. nice. buying presents are just so difficult- but fun=). it was interesting to see other people buy stuff too. some people were walking and counting the number of ppl they had to buy presents for. some people were checking their lists and striking the names of ppl who they had bought presents for. and some others were like buying the same gift for everyone on the list. (like taking 30 odd cake towels).
i bought considerbly personalised gifts and gifts that im pretty sure the receiver of the gift will use.im quite practical. haha. the best was when i went to buy something fm Chanel from my mum. the sales girl remembered me as i bought something fm chanel last year and was like "so you going to buy a present for your mum again?" lols. she had a superb memory. and she could even rem wad i bought last year. nice. bought things fm nike and adidas too and fm alot of random shops. oh yes. im glad that taka now has myuk! haha. so convienent.
came back in the evening. just in time to set up the christmas trees. yeah. trees. set up the small one first,which was to be placed outside the house. decided on a gold color scheme for that. and then i did the big one for the living room. the color scheme was silver and gold=). i love decorating christmas trees! it just lets you unleash your creative side and create your masterpiece! tomorrows another bz day and so is christmas eve! 2 more days to christmas!

the past couple days were fun and im glad to have spent it with some very close friends. council christmas dinner yesterday night at yeangs place=). haha. when koh and i reached, everyone was trying to get everything started. i certainly chipped in my help to get the charcoal going and then i attempted to cook my first batch of mutton satay. i guess i do bbq quite abit so yes, my little knowledge did come in handy. the food turned out well and then liuyi, raam, tessa, jit really helped alot to get the next few batches of food going. (tip1: do not put newspaper below charcoal- with the excuse of ..."its easier when we clear up") lols. newspaper burns! and erm. u dont want to be bbqing newspaper. lols.
the food was good and the company was great as usual. played a couple games of bridge, bluff and wadeva card games they are alongside the music of the various ipods which were playing at different occasions. the cam-whoring sessions were also not to be missed. our champion cam-whorer being bryan zhao and perhaps paul chu can come in second. lols=). tks for all the organising put into it and im sure most of us had fun! =)
reached hm at abt 12plus and i continued to play cards with doug. won him in speed. but it was a hard-fought victory. haha. slept at abt 3am after doing some stuff, writing cards and wathcing tv.
headed to sch this morning for soccer with my beloved 417'06 class. i guess amongst all my secondary sch classes, 417 has many great friends and many memories which i undoubtedly would not forget. so yes. reporting time was 9... but we did start at abt 10ish. tks to mingchun, alvin n koh for coming so early=) and to leon, andre, samhuang, slim, amos, and harith who dropped by later on.=) we played until 12ish under the hot sun (yes! tk god it did not rain!!!(till the evening)). we played against the year4 gep (our year 5 juniors next year)). first half we were winning 3-2(and yes i scored an own goal.sry). and second half we lost 4-7(and i scored one goal!)(amazing right? haha. it was a nice pass from mc). took a rest and a shower, b4 heading to the ever so popular wachee. btp followed and we lan-ed for abt 1hour or so. my skills are so so rusty. except for pool day which i guess i was lucky? lols. but i did have a gd team- andre, amos, koh n me=) left with koh n harith to tp to collect some stuff for council then we had tea at our usual hangout- ljs. haha. chatted for nearly 2 hours, but it was very interesting topics and im sure the conversation was meaningful in some ways=)haha. left at abt 6, where we all headed our seperate ways.
i was supposed to play badminton tonight- but cos im like so tired. i think i'll just lose all my sets if i do play. haha. enough excercise for the day! tks to council n 417 for a gd 2 days out! cheers!

today was a seriously tiring day. one of most hardworking days in my entire holidays. so yes. i moved house. im staying at upper bukit timah now, near bukit batok. woke up like siao early in the morning to pack up my tv, its cables, my internet and stuff. then the movers came.
in my condo, 2 other ppl were moving too. lols. nice joke right. and one was my neighbour staying directly below me. haha. so we had to share the lift... which i guess slowed the entire process down. haha.
it took abt 3 hours for everything to be packed and loaded. then i headed for lunch with my brother and went to the new house. the new house is abt the same size as my current house. (slightly smaller to be exact). my rms very earthly. alot of brown hues and whites and wood colors. haha. i guess its kinna homely so thats a gd thing.
unpacking sucks. it really sucks. there is so much to unpack and its just tiring and tedious. haha. i spent the entire afternoon unpacking and theres still stuff left.
some accomplishments of today:

i packed my waredrobe according to colors. (its amazing... i shall take a picture soon).and ive found space for all my other 50 odd random shirts.
i fixed my tv and my internet and all the IT things at hm all by myself
i unpacked abt 15 cartons today.
im still alive!

thank god for today. for the gd weather and for the moving to be successful. today i was also in a dilema for a long time. its a long story and i dont think i wanna share it. but yeah. it was heartaching. tomorrow im gg to be doing more unpacking and i shall work on my ee. yes. i shall attempt to continue fm where ive left off. =)

just came back fm christmas classics. a show put together by students fm our school. jeremy invited us and it was a gd show i must say. simple and meaningful. the proceeds were to charity and the performances were nice and entertaining. great job to: jeremy, derek, denise, debbie, jonwong, yan han, matthew, michelle, eryn, rachel, and everyone else! i found most of the performances very cool in their own way. esp when the musicians show off their technical skills=).
anyways some ppl fm the class went: chris(who was playing with elmo throughout the performance), jia, deb, reks, paul, and me. yes. to support our fellow classmates. met a few familiar faces fm acjc too and fm church and not forgeting mr james ong, whos always so supportive!
supper was at mos. it was a quick one b4 everyone headed hm as it was getting late.

so heres how the story goes. on the way back, deb, chris n i took the rain towards jurong east. so we got on at city hall and just chatted along the way. at the next stop, yeang walked in. and guess wad. it was the exact same door that we entered! and the same train that we were in! how perfect was the timing! and since deb n i were getting off, at least chris wont feel so lonely on the way back=) thats yuan fen at its finest!

its been a while since ive blogged. there are so many things i wanted to blog about. but my internet screwed up. so yes. i just managed to get it fixed.
the week was quite fine. packing loads of things. cos im moving house tomorrow. im quite amazed at the number of things i have at home. its mind-blowing how much things ive got. (yes. i feel very blessed). anyways, there are tonns of things ive been getting rid off and giving away. and yes. selling things too. oh speaking of that. if u know anyone crazy abt hello kitty, ive got the entire millenium collection from mc donalds. ( my mum just followed the trend(then)and she wants me to sell it now). its gg at $30 bucks a pair (and ive got 5 pairs).
also, ive got alot of kiddy books. ages 3-6 and 6-12. (ive got a few hundred) perhaps abt 500left. so if u know anyone whos looking for second hand books, pls let me know. (they are mostly gg at $1 for paperback and $2 for hardcover. prices may vary).

anyways, i was watching asian idol for the past couple days and to my horror, hady won yesterday night. OMG. how in the world did he win?. in my opinion, i think comparing him to all the other idols, he loses out technically- immediately. secondly, i think his english song choice is not as spectacular as the rest.
mao and victor and mike are so good! they deserved to win. really.
anyways the few reasons why hady could win is because of voting for 2 countries. thats the only reason how hady could win. (his malay song could have caputured the hearts of the malaysias and indonesians so they voted for him). or perhaps (as han an says: "they wouldnt want to vote for the strongest one for their second choice, so vote a weak one thinking that the weak one wont win, so hady could hv won cos of tt". )lol. interesting theory.
went for council meeting today, it was short and fruitful. plus we rehearsed the mass dance again. yes. i can almost rem the entire thing now. haha. good refresher today.=) going out for jeremys concert tonight and im moving house tom. gg to be very bz tomorrow.

today was a gd day. went to the new house today to put some things in my room whilst the contractors do up the backyard and stuff.
had lunch thereafter at vivo city with mdm Goh, our chinese teacher who has decided to leave the school. the invitation was by han an and it was just targeted to a few members. leon, jit, davidlai, jia, han an and i turned up. we had a nice chat with laoshi over lunch and im sure that we wish her all the best in her new school..sji international.
at abt 230, han an disappeared for a movie with his date, (a girl fm 510). and that left the 5 of us. we decided to go to bugis as i had to buy some cards. walked for a rather long time and i finally found the place. it was a long time since ive gone to bugis. so yes, my directions were screwed up... had tea/dessert after that. ate won ton mee with jit and we had pearl milk tea for drinks too. leon was complaining abt the price of the food so he ended up buying 2siewmai.
after resting, we decided to head to sam. (singapore art museum) so see what was new. david left us as i guess it wasnt his cup of tea. the galleries were nice. many unique and interesting pieces, however i had seen some of the pieces at my earlier visit to the museum this year.=) we spent abt 2hours there and walked to ps after that and spilt up as it was getting late and everyone headed hm for dinner.
it was a nice day out today. and yes. david lai and jit are weird, making ppl fm .12 weird.. (lols.generalization.ok. im kidding).

on a side note, speaking of the price is right in my previous post, its coming back!!!! and the new host is DREW CAREY. nice! i cant wait to watch it when it comes up on tv!
on a second side note, i cant find the article i was telling jia about that i was supposed to post. it was an article abt japanese guys. the thing abt skinny guys are the IN thing now.=) and something abt keeping their weight to abt 55-57kg. haha. (for the height of 170-180cm)

america has so many shows and singapore just kopes and changes slightly. nice copy copy copy.
deal or no deal. just for laughs- tabtv(singapore version). wheel of fortune(nice the singapore version is so cheapskate. so little money on the wheel summore). who wants to be a millionaire. singapore idol. and now.... singapore funniest home videos... LOL

why cant we be more original?

day9- japan(osaka)

since its like 1.38am here, i guess i shall just blog now cos i dont think i'll have the time later in the morning when i get up. its been a great trip. a very memorable and eventful one indeed. had fun and certainly time away fm the bz schedule of sch work, and i had a gd time catching up with friends and ive accomplished more than i expected to. visited 4 cities. (kobe, kyoto, tokyo and osaka) in 9 days. thks alot to mum n dad for the holiday and for my parents friends for helping us along. i guess its abt time to head back to sunny and hot singapore(i hope) and get back to the usual way of life=)

i'll be back at night. so anything u guys can sms me after 9pm. (dont msg me if its abt work. lols. i wanna start work only when i feel like it. haha)

day8- japan(osaka)

spent most of the day today at namba. in my opinion, namba and its surrounding is the greatest shopping area in osaka. it has the namba walk, which is the underground food and shopping area and there is a few km of covered walkways (yes our sch shd have a covered walkway!)along the street. there are a few hundred food outlets, many amusement centers and tonns of shops selling clothes and everything.

i spent lunch and the entire afternoon just walking around and popping by all the shops. truely, the best thing is the service. no matter what you buy or even if you dont buy anything, they are just still so warm and helpful! met more singaporeans today. its so obvious fm the way they talk and use singlish. sheesh. (ok. thats one way of identifying singaporeans)

bought some shoes today and just a few random items. i guess they were all good buys. haha. much cheaper than singapore. so yeah. haha. and for the record. i didnt buy much things during this trip. really. i can almost count them with both hands. (and the last time i came, i bought abt 40plus things.)

dinner was great. i dunno why but the last supper(b4 i leave a country) always seems to be the best. there was prawn, crab, beef, egg, vegetables, salmon, yam, beancurd and soup. a truely scrumptious meal indeed and a nice way to end the holiday.

just finished a game of monopoly with boco and rico and its been ages since ive played that game. we played for about 2.5hours and i got 3rd place and i was bankrupt and owing people money. lols. and to think i even had 3 hotels. it was a very fun game indeed!

leaving back for singapore tomorrow and i shd be returning sometime at night.

day7-japan(kobe)

took a quick train ride to kobe today. kobe's famous for its beef (like duh)(however i didnt eat any beef.lol) and its famous also for a horrific earthquake that happened years ago.

my first stop was at the chinatown. it kinna reminded me of china- due to the temple-like decorations and structures. the weird thing abt their chinatown is that instead of wanton noodles or kwaytiao, they served japanese ramen. lols. (which was extremely cheap and there was like a super long queue!) and comparing our chinatown to theirs, our china town is very much bigger and noisier.

visited the port kobe memorial park where more than 5000 people died and it had the record for the most costly quake in the world. (2billion). they kept some of the remains of the quake and it was quite devastating to see the remains.

after lunch, we headed to the kobe memorial museum. it was very informative and sad place. there were many pictures of what happened during the great hanshin-awaji earthquake, the videos and everything- pieced together the bigger picture. it happened in 1995, 17th january. the depth was 16km and the magnitude-7.3. the tour guide that we had spoke english and she had family members who lived thru the quake. also, there was a lady who lived to tell the tale of this disaster. i guess sometimes we take so much things for granted. we have a safe country and we are not prone to most natural disasters and i guess that is something we can thank god for!

2 more days to go before i head back to singapore. i guess i must say i feel like i had a meaningful holiday- both having fun and learning more abt another culture and stuff.=) ive not bought much though. really. im planning to do shoe shopping tomorrow!

and i think i was reading fabs blog yesterday abt how kenneth thinks service in singapore is inefficient. i guess i would have to second that. the japanese are the greatest example (in my opinion) of good and fantastic service. no matter what they do- be it helping you cross the street, giving you change, sweeping the floor, serving a customer, washing a toilet,- they always do it with pride and they do it to their very best and i guess thats something that we have to learn too! and certainly singaporeans should learn that too! (if not the government might need to have another 'smiles' i mean 'service' campaign!) lols

day6- japan(tokyo/osaka)

breakfast this morning was unqiue. it was a japanese spread. had soba, rice, soup, sashimi, fried salmon, chicken, bread, juices. after breakfast, checked out of the hotel and went with my bro to explore some areas in tokyo. we went to shinjuku for a while. then went to harajuku. harajuku has many nice small shops around and there were big brands too. i didnt buy anything today. my bro bought some shoe mat which was pretty cool. the last stop was to shibuya. shibuya's like nyc's time square in my opinion. its crowded and fast. (i like!) and ive saw the very famous dog statue! in the evening, returned back to osaka. going to kobe tomorrow!

day5-japan(tokyo)

breakfast at the hotel was just delicious. it was the international buffet spread. Had ice cream for breakfast and some jap stuff and some american breakfast set. then at abt 10, we took the shuttle bus to disneysea. I like disneysea much more than disneyland. there was not that many people and the rides and shows are just better. we watched 4 shows: some rainforest show(which had a million dollar set!!!! loved it!). big bang (some broadway show) some under the sea show(which had fantastic technology!), some night outdoor muscial too! to top it all up, the show "bravisimo" was fantastic. the lights, water, fire and sounds were enchanting! the rides are so much better too! i sat most of the rides i liked twice! tower of terror and the 360loop one! great rides!

these past 2 days has really been captivating. i dunno why but i just love disney. the entire disney experience. the park and its scenery. the wonderful and friendly staff. the rides. the leadup to the rides. the music!!. the food. everything is just spellbinding. have u ever considered working as the manager of a disney theme park? well, i have. haha. isnt it a meaningful job to make dreams turn into reality and to make others happy?

day4- japan(tokyo)

woke up super early in the morning to head to tokyo. reached tokyo at abt 9plus and made my way with my bro to tokyo disneyland. upon arrival, it started to drizzle and i was like. "sheesh". after abt 15mins of queueing, we got in and there were tonns of people inside already and the rain just had to get heavier.

managed to get the fast pass for the popular rides (thunder mountain, spacemountain) and while waiting, we just kept ourselves indoors. my brother was very perswasive that we shd sit all the rides which no one was taking. so i just did that and i got even more wet.(yes. canoeing in the rain.and some boat rides) lols.

went back to the hotel to check-in, get dry and eat dinner and came back to the bark at abt 6plus. this was in-time for the shows and since the rain was gone, everything was much better. the lightshow was fantastic. millions of lights. just fascinating. (some pics on my flickr).

Left the park at abt 10, after the fireworks and some shopping, then we decided to go back to the hotel and rest. didnt meet daniel though. haha. (but we passed by his area many times. lol)

day3- japan(kyoto)

took the train this morning to kyoto, which was abt 50km away fm osaka. this would be the first time ive been to kyoto and since many people say its worth the visit, i decided to go there. we arrived at kyoto at abt 12pm and walked alot. kyoto used to be the captial of japan long ago. there are many traditional things in kyoto and there are also many temples and museums. we visited the temples and so did tonns of other people.

during lunch, we met some singaporean tour grp ppl. they were talking in singlish and mix of chinese and eng. so i turned around and asked "are u fm singapore?" and the answer was yes. haha. they were on a 7 day tour which was scheduled to end on 4th dec departing fm osaka.

after the visiting, we took a very slow walk back to the train, and got back to osaka and walked back home.

dinner tonight was fantastic. it was japanese bbq beef. ate alot and really enjoyed the meal. it was mouthwateringly gd! oh yes, and i ate tongue. its quite gd. tastes just like beef. haha. just got back not too long ago and i just trashed my bro in table tennis. 5sets to 1. so that makes the overal 1-2. tomorrow im headed to tokyo, where i doubt i will have the internet unless i go to the business center. will b in tokyo for 3 days and thus i will prob blogg on the 5th of dec, when i return! (just for the record- happy birthday in advance to jeremy!(4th dec)). (daniel koh- reply my email!)

day2- japan (osaka)

today was a rather fun day. my body clock woke me up at 9am singapore time and thats when my day started. had a wonderful breakfast and boco brought my brother and i to Hirakata Park. it was a theme park built for kids but most of the rides are actually those for adults. it was a good day and we managed to get there in 1.5 hours after changing 3 trains.

reached there and we were surprised that the park was considerbly empty. (only later we realised that the side of the park tht we went to was catered mainly for the older kids and adults). we sat each ride many times and we set many rides. 5 times of the log fume ride, 5 times of the super long corkscrew coaster, 2 times of wooden coaster, 4 times of the wide mouse, 5 times of river rapids, 5 roto drops (the vertical drop fm 150m above, which makes u breathless!), and a few more rides which we just sat once. lunch was at mac donalds and at abt 5plus, we headed home.

dinner was nice. reminded me of home. fried rice and some melon soup with curry chicken! yum! after dinner, played table tennis with my bro. total of 11 sets and he won 6-5. he won the last set 19-21. (most of the sets were around that score). after that, took a shower and we played risk with boco and rico. after abt 2 hours, we decided to stop as the game didnt seem to be going anywhere. lols. (and yes. now im blogging. when everyones sleeping. lol)

tomorrow im planning to head to kyoto for a day trip of sight seeing. =) wishing all the cambodia trip ppl a gd trip back and welcome home! to everyone else, tks for reading and take care!

day1-japan(osaka)

left singapore this morning at 110am. the flight was considerbly short and rather enjoyable. i didnt get much sleep though. oh yes. i met han an at the airport. hes headed to italy at 1am and he is gg to return abt the same day as me. also, i watched 2 shows which were action packed. one was bourne and the other was some HK action film. very gd shows!

reach kansai international airport at abt 8plus. cleared all the customs etc and went to get my JR rail pass for tokyo. the person who served us was very nice and helpful=). then my bro and i took the bus to hankyu railway, which led us to our friends place. settled down really quickly and we decided to head for lunch and familiarise ourselves with the area once more.

today was a gd day in general. the weather is nice when the sun is up.=) and the trees are lovely. attached is a picture of the nearby lake. i really love how amazing the transition is from autumn to winter and how nature is just so beautiful and relaxing. i guess i'll be doing more scouting around the city central tomorrow. hope that it will out well=).

the past couple days hv been exhausting but really fun i must say. yesterday i woke up early to go and check in for my flight early. this also allowed me to pick my seats early and i guess i got them. =). went to meet my417 friends after that. (alvin, slim, jase, shuang, mc and me) we had breakfast at the usual, ljs and cos we had to wait for the pool place to open, we had a few rounds of bridge and hearts whilst waiting. (yes, cards is the ultimate game to pass time). before we knew it, it was time to go play. pool was fun and my game was really rusty. partnered alvin and we won the first 2 sets, tks to other peoples mistakes. then it was singles with alvin, and we drew 1-1. then i partnered mingchun and we won 1 and lost 1. and i partnered sam huang and lost 1 set and i won a set partnering jase. (ok. i think my memory is starting to fail me). tks to alvin for co-organising the event! u were of great help!

after tht, came home, took a quick shower n headed to marriot for prom meeting. settled all the preparations on time and we started rather PROMtly at 715(haha). i was ic yesterday and i must say that everyone did a great job in all the respective duties. tks so much to the ics- liuyi, butler, sarina and adriel and to those who stayed back till very late- seng, butler, raam, louis, jit, reks, david lai=). tks also to the event manager, christine, who kindly treated us to a meal, which was rather romantic (LOL) and the food was pretty gd!=) honestly, i didnt do much, just ran it. the people who u shd really tk for prom are JJ and arthur!
and yes, the prom king for 2007 is Arthur and the prom Queen is Vanessa Tok!. i guess they really deserved it! congrats guys!

today was considerbly fun. woke up, had lunch and went with my bro to do some last minute shopping before our trip tonight. then we went to bowl. haha. i won my bro 5sets to 2. haha. my highest score was 173 (of which he beat me by getting 179). i think ive got abt 13-15 strikes today! (and im quite glad abt tt) and i got a turkey too(thats 3 strikes in a row and NOT a bird).

after that, i went to meet pam to see the samples of the shirts and i must say that they look fabulous.(if u didnt buy them, u ought to be ashamed of yrself. anyways i didnt order extra, so too bad!) the cohort shirt was nice, the council shirt was nice and the orientation shirt was nice too. i guess i feel quite proud to say that ive designed the cohort and orientation shirt now that ive seen the actual thing! and thks to deb for designing the council shirt! (the picture on the right is wad ive taken of the actual designs)(sry some of them look blur cos my hand was shaky)

im leaving tonight for japan for abt 10 days. will only be back on 8th dec night (aka 9th morning). i'll have my laptop so i'll be blogging and going on msn whenever i can yea=) anything just email me and i will reply u at night! cheers, take care and god bless!

the past few days were fun and relaxed. played sports everyday. and guess what. 1 month of the holidays is OVER. crap. i feel so guilty. didnt do much work. and im going on another holiday soon, and im going to move house and then its christmas. i guess i have to find that time to work.
been bz with alot of designing the past few days. bz with orientation stuff, dancing and what have u. was in school this morning for prom meeting and LOL, im ic for prom. (another dinner! lols). had late lunch wif koh n sarina at hv too. haha. it was nice catching up with daniel after wad seemed to be a long time not meeting him. =)
and yes, ive changed my phone again. haha. it was a swap with my dad. so now im using the E65. haha. im getting used to it.=)
reflecting, i realised that i have changed many phones and this would be the 19th phone ive changed in 8 years. so heres the recollection. my first phone was a motorola flip phone(pri 4). then it was 8270, 3395, 3330, 3315, 3310, 8390. (till 2002). these were the black n white phones which had the original snake! then in late 2002, i had my first colored phone, 7210. this phone had no camera. then it was 6225, 3120, t610, 6230, a samsung flip and then my first flip phone, 6170. this was followed by 6111, 6126, 5300, and my most recent 6300.
lols. i dunno how i remembered tt.
tomorrows my rest day and i certainly hope to get some stuff done. then outings on wed, and prom duty on wed. another packed week. to dkoh- hv a gd trip to japan!, reks- welcome back tomorrow, to those in cambodia- hope your having a gd trip!

yes. jeremy won me in yahoo pool yesterday night. 8-10. but it was a gd fight and im sure i'll have my revenge someday. haha=) gd game. super tension. and i quote jem: "she uses RULEs(R). but i ROCK". (at chris) lol
played golf today with dad at kranji. played pretty well. got 10 bogeys and like 5 pars. haha. not too bad a game. my target is to play very constantly this holidays and i think im doing well=) i love singapore greens. so easy to read the lines. haha. brunei greens are tough. tough i say.
on the way back, got into an accident. lols. nice some indian guy hit my dads car. he apologised profusely and said tht he was using his handphone. LOLS. then the ambulance came. and im like doing the police report now. lols. no one injured so thank god for that. the indian guys car was smokin' and his lights were busted and his rear just looked like it was gg to drop. and nice my dads car bumper was just slightly out of place.*andrews view- buy and intercontinental car. they are super hardy.
my dad estimates the charges to be abt 10k. lols. all insurance pay one la. cos must replace the entire convertable mechanism.
had dinner at hm and im like bombarded with work. need to send emails to a few people. do more designing (i lv my photoshop cs3!!) and reports. hah. yahoo pool has to wait. sheesh. =)
